Government Services Division of established receivables management and debt purchasing company is seeking an experienced collections sales representative for the government market in the Western United States. Exceptional candidates from other regions of the country may also be considered. The ideal candidate should posses the following attributes:

  • A successful and demonstrable track record of selling collection and receivables management services to state and local governments.
  • Ability to effectively evaluate, target, initiate and close sales cycles with state and local governments and understand the nuances of business-to-government sales.
  • Existing relationships with relevant decision makers in state and local government finance entities desired. 
  • Familiarity with the state and local government RFQ/RFP process.
  • Knowledge of the receivables management market.
  • Ability to engage and work with outside consultants to develop markets.
  • Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree with business emphasis strongly desired.
  • Ability to communicate persuasively verbally and in writing with prospects and customers as well as with internal customers and team members.
  • Ability to function effectively with standard computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software. 
  • Ability to travel nationwide on a regular basis.
  • Residence in the Western United States desired but company is open to outstanding candidates countrywide.
